Bri Foster is a multidisciplinary artist based in Tiohtià:ke/Montréal, Canada. Through textile sculpture, painting, and surface design, Bri explores the intersection of fashion and object, with a focus on inner-child work, identity, and personal world-building. She began creating dolls in 2020 as a way to express and transform her inner world.
Bri's work has been featured across North America, including boutiques in Montreal, Toronto, and Chicago. In 2023, she participated in a group show at Trotter&Sholer Gallery in New York. In 2026, Bri will debut a new installation at the Bard Graduate Center Gallery in New York, featuring a dollhouse concept and a series of giant dolls.
Bri holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts (2006) and a Bachelor of Education (2008) from the University of Manitoba, as well as a Bachelor of Design in Fashion (2015) from Toronto Metropolitan University (form. Ryerson University). She has also worked professionally as a fashion and costume designer, specializing in 3D visualization and patternmaking for womenswear and soft accessories.
